Greek Dakos Salad

Greek Dakos Salad

Ingredients:  

  • 3 pieces of dakos or barley rusk or just dried bread
  • 2 big tomatoes
  • 100gr feta cheese
  • 1 tbsp capers (optional)
  • 2-3 tbsps olive oil
  • Salt & Oregano

Method: 

  1. Wash and cut the tomatoes in small pieces.
  1. Drain feta cheese and cut in small pieces.
  1. Place the dakos on a plate and add the tomatoes on top.
  1. Add the feta cheese and sprinkle the oregano over it.
  1. Add the capers and olive oil.
  1. Add a bit of salt if u want, feta cheese can be salty enough for some people.
  1. Enjoy your Greek Dakos Salad!

    I love the addition of the capers, I always seem to have some in the fridge but never know what to put them on!! Thanks for sharing!
