Steaks with Creamy Mushroom Sauce

If you want to let the sauce cook down you can cook the steaks first and then cook your sauce. This is a recipe you usually see in fancy restaurants that is actually super easy to create at home. Quick, tasty and full of flavors.

Ingredients: 

  • 2 steaks on the bone
  • 200ml fresh cream
  • 150- 200gr mushrooms
  • 2 tbsps olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Oregano (optional)

Method:  

  1. In a large pan add the olive oil and cook the steaks in medium heat.
  2. Turn the steaks from the other side and cook until desired doneness is reached.
  3. While you are cooking the steaks in the same pan add the mushrooms and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Stir in the cream and cook until  slightly thickened.
  5. Serve with rice or potatoes.
  6. Add salt and pepper to your Steaks with Creamy Mushroom Sauce and enjoy!
