Chrysa’s Chocolate Cheesecake

We would like to thank Chrysa for sharing her recipe with us, Chrysa’s Chocolate Cheesecake is rich, creamy and just delicious.  A very easy to make recipe for lovers of cheesecake and chocolate.


  • 300gr digestive biscuits or any other semi-sweet biscuits of you liking
  • 400gr chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 120gr butter
  • 600gr cream cheese
  • 3 tbsps cacao powder
  • pinch of salt


  1. Place the biscuits in a food processor and pulse a few times.
  2. Cut the butter into small cubes and melt.
  3. Add the biscuits in a large bowl and add the butter, with a large spatula mix well until everything is combined.
  4. Grease a 23cm springform baking tray and add the biscuits, press down to create an evenly base and use the back of a glass to flatten.
  5. Bake for only 10 minutes at 180C and then set aside.
  6. In a large bowl combine the cream cheese, chocolate hazelnut spread, cacao powder and pinch of salt.
  7. Mix well until you have created a creamy mixture.
  8. If you are using a mixer, beat the cream cheese with the chocolate spread and cacao powder until well combined.
  9. Once your mixture is ready pour over your chilled base and smooth the top.
  10. Sprinkle with some chocolate sprinkles, hazelnuts or berry sauce.
  11. Chill for about 2-3 hours and serve straight from the fridge.
  12. Enjoy!
