Forest Fruit Sorbet
Ingredients:
- 500gr frozen forest fruit
- 180gr sugar
- 300ml water
- ½ juice of lemon
- Handful of walnuts
Method:
- Rinse the frozen forest fruit with some water.
- Place the sugar in a saucepan with the water.
- Heat in medium heat until the sugar has dissolved and boil for 1 minute until the mixture is slightly syrupy.
- Pour the syrup into a bowl, add the lemon juice.
- Combine the syrup and forest fruit in a bowl and use a hand blender to blend everything together.
- Press the mixture through a sieve and then put the mixture in an ice cream container.
- Put the container in the freezer and after 2 hours take the mixture out and break up the ice with a fork, then return to the freezer for another 2 hours.
- Continue to break up the ice every few hours until the mixture is firm.
- Move the container to the fridge 20 minutes before serving.
- Serve your Forest Fruit Sorbet with a few walnuts.
