Octopus Pasta

Ingredients:

  • 1kg octopus (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 glass of red wine
  • 500gr pasta
  • 1 can of chopped tomatoes
  • 100gr of olive oil
  • Salt – Pepper

Method

  1. Wash the octopus and put it in a pot.
  2. Start cooking and once boiled add the wine and turn down the heat.
  3. Leave it to cook in low heat for 1 hour.
  4. When its ready cut it in small pieces.
  5. Strain the liquid from the pot and reserve.
  6. In a pot add olive oil and sauté onion.
  7. Add the octopus.
  8. Then add half of the reserved liquid, tomato, salt, pepper, water.
  9. When the water boils add pasta.
  10. Boil in low heat.
