Light Orange Flavoured Cake
Ingredients:
- 250gr self-raising flour
- Pinch of salt
- 2 large eggs
- 225gr caster sugar
- Zest of one orange
- ½ cup of corn oil
- ½ cup of freshly squeezed orange juice
Method:
- Beat the sugar and corn oil until fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at the time and beat well.
- Mix in the orange zest and juice.
- Gradually add the flour with a pinch of salt. If mixture is dry add some more orange juice.
- Grease a long cake tin and pour the mixture.
- If you want you can pour half the mixture, then add a few spoonful’s of chocolate & hazelnut spread and cover with the rest of the cake mixture.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 170C for about 35- 40 mins.
- Ideal for a light dessert or even breakfast.
