Walnut and yogurt cake
Ingredients:
- 250gr butter
- 1 ½ cup sugar
- 5 eggs
- 300gr yogurt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- A bit of salt
- Zest of one orange
- 500gr all-purpose flour
- 1 cup grapes
- ½ cup walnuts
- 50gr cognac or any other alcoholic drink you desire
Method
- Mix butter with sugar until white.
- Add the eggs one at the time and then add yogurt, baking powder, salt, orange zest and mix well.
- In a bowl put the raisins and cognac and let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Then add some flour and mix well.
- Add the rest of the flour and walnuts and mix well.
- Combine and mix all the ingredients, grease and flour a cake pan and add the mix.
- Bake at 160C for 1 hour.
