Spaghetti With Tomato And Feta Sauce

This Spaghetti With Tomato And Feta Sauce can also be a great vegeterian dish, just use mushrooms or other vegetables instead of the sausage.


  • 500gr spaghetti
  • 1 can chopped tomatoes
  • 200gr feta cheese
  • 250gr sausages, chopped
  • 1 big onion,
  • 1 garlic glove
  • 2 green peppers, chopped
  • 1 large fresh tomato, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp thyme or oregano
  • 4 tbsps olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • Salt &pepper


  1. Chop all your vegetables and the sausage into small pieces.
  2. In a large pot boil the spaghetti and add a salt once the water starts boiling.
  3. In an other smaller pot  add some olive oil and saute the chopped onion with the minced garlic.
  4. Cook onions until translucent and add the sausage.
  5. When the sausage is half done add the peppers and cook for a few more minutes.
  6. Add the chopped tomatoes, the fresh tomato and the sugar.
  7. Season and let the sauce cook in medium heat for 20-30 minutes.
  8. While sauce is cooking chop your feta into small cubes.
  9. When the pasta and sauce is ready remove from the heat and add  the feta cubes in the tomato sauce.
  10. Sprinkle with some oregano or thyme and enjoy your mediterranean spaghetti.
